Lesley-Ann Brandt was born in Cape Town, South Africa on 2 December 1981. She is a model and actress who is well-known as a TV actress and film. Brandt, who began her acting in the New Zealand's Diplomatic Immunity sitcom she was able to make her American debut in the role as Naevia in the historical show Spartacus: Blood and Sand. In the last decade she has appeared in a ton of TV shows including the likes from Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies as well as The Librarians. Brandt is currently appearing as Mazikeen, a character in Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro's urban fantasy Lucifer. Brandt grew up at Cape Town South Africa. When she reached her late teens, she moved to Auckland New Zealand along with her parents and siblings. Brandt started her modelling career through ads and commercials. Her rise to stardom as a supermodel began when she worked in the retail industry and recruitment for information technology. She landed her first featured performance in the year 2009 on the New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity where she was given the character as Leilani Fa'auigaese. In 2021, she had her first big appearance in Spartacus Blood and Sand on Starz. She played a slave girl named Naevia. Her role as Naevia was reprised on the Spartacus sequel, Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Craig Parker starred alongside her in three television shows: Diplomatic Immunity (2009), Spartacus (2010), and Legend of the Seeker (2008). The year 2016 saw her started to portray a bounty hunter demon called Mazikeen on the Netflix show Lucifer. This happens to be her biggest role to date.
