Linda Blair

Linda Linda LindaLinda Blair was five years young when she became the youngest child actor to get a role in The Exorcist. She had worked as a model for the previous three years before she acted in the role of the child who was possessed Regan. Linda Blair rose quickly to fame and won an award called the Golden Globe. She was expected to also win an Academy Award. But when it was revealed that certain part of her roles were recorded and that a stunt-dummy played eight seconds, that dream fell apart. Linda was able to secure leading roles in a number of movies, including Born Innocent (#1 TV film in 1974) as well as Sarah T. - Portrait of A Teenage Alcoholic(1975), along with her role in the Exorcist II sequel Exorcist II : The Heretic. After she snagged cocaine due to social pressure when she was 18 years old, this resulted in her being detained and a sentence of three years probation. The widely-publicized bust for drugs caused Linda to be blacklisted by Hollywood and her acting career was soon reduced to B-movies with occasional guest appearances only
